FAIL.

This week hasn't been great. There hasn't been a single exam where I've come out of it thinking 'That went ok'. In fact, I've just had some really terrible ones, and the worst were those that I might be taking for A Level. Great.

Today was a failure too. I went into town to get some music for my singing lesson, but the music shop wasn't very good for that, so I came away empty handed. However, I did manage to pick up a Doctor Who Magazine. Finally. When I got home I had a sudden craving for sherbert (which has never happened before...) so I popped across to the shop opposite my house to get a sherbert fountain. Apart from, before I went across, I got something in my eye (possibly battery acid... long story) so I had to take my right contact lense out to soak in some cleaning solution. It was then that I decided to go sherbert hunting... but I could only see through my left eye. This made things difficult. For a start, crossing the road. I live on a busy road that leads into a busy city- and my spacial awareness was none existent. Well, you can tell I survived as I would not be here now, but it was rather embarassing when I was trying to leave the shop (two sherbert fountains in hand- I didn't realise they were so cheap!). The automatic door opened, but I couldn't really see it properly, and almost walked into the big glass panel next to the door that had just opened for me. The shopkeeper gave me a weird look. I ran away.

Talking of Doctor Who (I know it was about ten lines back, but ah well), my Doctor Who Series 1 boxset came!!! YAY!!! I got it yesterday, and in just one day I managed to watch the first three episodes and all the Special Features on Disc 1. I also managed to watch episode 6 of series 4 ('The Doctor's Daughter'- it was on BBC 3), so I definitely had my daily dose of Doctor Who. The day before I watched the first five episodes of series 4 one after the other... oh god, this all sounds so sad doesn't it? Ah well, I don't care. From Wednesday it'll be back to normal school work and normal school times, so I'm just gonna make the most of it.
By sitting around doing nothing.
(If you class watching Doctor Who as doing nothing, which I certainly don't.).

I've only got three more exams now - French Oral on Monday (which I haven't even written yet, let alone started revising) and Biology and French Reading on Tuesday. I'm actually gonna quite miss the mocks, cos as rubbish as the exams are, we have loads of free time and can come and go to school as we please. Plus we get to go into the canteen half an hour before the rest of the school. But on Wednesday I will have to stop living the easy life and get back to work. I think it's gonna come as quite a shock to be honest. I seriously can't remember my timetable. And of course, there's the dreaded results. It's not going to be fun.

At least I'll hopefully be able to talk about something other than mocks and Doctor Who on here. I mean, I know I'm just pretty much using this as a diary that I can look back on when I'm older, but I don't think that in however many years time I'm gonna want to read about me complaining about mocks all the bloody time. I'll probably have proper things to worry about then. So I'm sorry, future me, for just complaining about life, when these are probably actually the last worry- free years. I didn't know, ok?

Til next time...

P.S. I've just eaten a tube of sherbert and an apple... my stomach feels weird... I think there might be some sort of dangerous chemical reaction going on in there...
